Apitherapy is one of the oldest and most traditional healing system of mankind, with reports on its use dating from 2,500 year BC. Nowadays apitherapy has gradually becoming more popular among the professional of health field, it is traditional and scientific at the same time. Brasil, the country with the greatest number of international scientific publications on some fields of apitherapy, is an important center for promotion and knowledge on apitherapy.
